What We Do

Prevention and Education

Thank you, to those who attended our 3-hour presentation "Know the Signs" of domestic violence training on Saturday June 10, 2023.  This free training is designed for anyone who knows someone experiencing abuse in their relationship. Our next training will be held virtually on Saturday October 14th from 10am to 1 pm Pacific time.

There are many resources available for survivors of domestic violence, but what about the safe people in the survivor's life. The people who see what is taking place but don't know how to respond. That is what "Know the Signs" is all about. Equipping everyday people with the tools to recognize when a relationship might be unsafe. Visit our YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD5xqi2VpwK-qJhVCYmBEPg/videos

This class will help you to recognize and respond to abuse. Each session will provide insights to the many complexities of domestic violence.

Coming soon "Men of Grace" a program designed to help men address Power & Controlling behaviors in relationships.

Equipping the Christian Community

We provide a 6-week faith-based training on domestic violence. The training is designed for those who desire to become "Christian Advocates" for family's experiencing abuse. Over the years many women have expressed appreciation for having a Christian Advocate walk along side of them, as they heal from abuse.

We are equipping women to become "Pop-up Advocates" who will be available in various locations across the city.  These volunteers will be trained in how to recognize, respond and make referrals for survivors of abuse. They will connect families to local community services when needed.
